The plays of blue and fluorescent orange happened after a summer full of playing soccer- despite many refraining from public gatherings. My practice of burning a self love candle, along with the reading of Tolkien's work, The Hobbit inspired the dream like quality to this piece. Rumination and reflections of my life brought me deeper into this practice of working with orange and blue. The title, Tiddles in my Tea is also a nod to Nabokov.
